It’s summertime and the livin’ is easy, especially when you have FOUR brand new Hallmark Channel flicks coming your way! Yep, you read that right, four new movies are almost here.

While Grease might not be one of them, you’ll still be humming the tune to “Summer Nights” as you watch along with Hallmark’s August programming event of the same name.

This wondrous event marks the return of some of our favorite stars, as well as gives us a few new ones – from other series we all surely love. It also marks the sequel to last year’s hit Autumn in the Vineyard! In Conversation With… ‘A Dash Of Love’ Screenwriting Sisters Sandi & Judith Berg

A Dash of Love mixes up the restaurant romance recipe into a delicious Hallmark Channel “Countdown to Valentine’s Day” movie.

While most romance movies set in a restaurant tend to have two chefs, with different ways of cooking, thrown together and immediately at odds with one another until they begin to fall for each other towards the later half of the movie, this one is different. Nikki Turner (Jen Lilley) and Paul Dellucci (Brendan Penny) like each other from the beginning and spend the whole movie building on that, allowing the viewer to really see a romance blossom through the stages, which is a refreshing and loving take on the usual restaurant-themed romance.

To get the scoop on what it was like making this Valentine’s Day movie, Millennial Hallmarker interviewed (via email) two of the screenwriters behind the romance flick, sisters Sandi & Judith Berg.
